Report of Medical Supplies Donation

Sources of donation:

  1. CCCI’s Purchase using Monetary Donation:

    • The first batch of 1200 surgical masks and 9,000 medical gloves; $ 1,650 (including shipping)
    • The second batch of 480 N95 masks, $ 1400 (including shipping)
    • The third batch of 2400 surgical masks, $ 2400 (including shipping)
    • The fourth batch of 100 coverall gowns, $ 1350 (including shipping)

  2. CCCI’s collection of medical items donated by CCCI congregations, Greater Lafayette Chinese Alliance Church, Purdue students and parents, Chengdu Christian Church, Hong Kong Christian Church, Indy Chinese Medical Association, Indy American Chinese Association, and other individuals:

    • 8,750 medical masks and general masks
    • 2624 KN95 masks
    • 270 N95 masks
    • 12500 medical gloves
    • 264 face shields
    • 32 goggles
    • 55 coverall gowns

教会医疗防护物品捐助报告

1. Donation of Medical Supplies：
Total online donation to the Covid-19 Indy Support Fund from 3/25 to 4/8 is $10,730.00. Purchased 900 Gloves, 1200 Surgical masks, and 240 N95 masks (yet to receive) with the total spending of $3,090. The first set of purchased supplies (except the 240 N95 masks) and supplies collection at the church were delivered to 4 hospitals this week. Still seeking additional reliable resources to purchase supplies.

2. Donation of Food
The church encourages everyone to continue donating food to the church, we will then deliver all the food together to Food Banks. The food donations have been delivered to food banks on two Sundays 4/5 and 4/12 by Rev. Ben Shi and his wife Xia Li.

At the same time, because the church Chinese families typically do not store much canned foods at home, the church decided to donate $5,000 to the "Food Bank" to help families in need during the pandemic, and we believe this is a God-given opportunity for our church to serve, connect and impact our community. We encourage brothers and sisters to give generously for a month. When giving online using the church website for Food Bank, please first select: Covid-19 Indy Support Fund, then after entering the donation information, please make a note on the Memo/Note: Food or Foodbank. This is to allow us to distinguish whether the donation is for Food bank or Medical Supplies. The "Covid-19 Indy Support Fund" is used for both. Otherwise, without specific note of Food or Food bank on the Memo, the donation will by default go to the Medical Supplies fund.

一：关于医疗物资的捐赠
03/25-04/08，总共收到对 COVID-19 的奉献资金是10,730.00 訂購了900只手套，1200个医用外科口罩和240个N95口罩，总共花费了$3,090。我们的应急小组依旧在积极寻找资源购买更多可靠的物资。 第一批购买的物资（除了240个N95口罩尚未收到外）和弟兄姐妹捐赠到教会的医疗物资都已经于04/06捐赠给了印州的4所医院。

二：关于食品的捐赠
教会也鼓励大家继续将家中的食品捐赠到教会，由教会统一捐赠给食品银行。 弟兄姐妹们捐赠到教会的食品已经于04/05和04/12两个主日的下午由史义斌牧师夫妇送到了食品银行。

同时，因为我们华人家中少有罐头类食品，教會決定向 『食品銀行』奉献$5,000，以幫助在疫情中有困難的家庭，我们相信這是神賜給我們教會的一 個服務社區、連接社區及影響社區的機會。請弟兄姐妹積極奉献，為期一個月。網上捐獻時請選擇：Covid-19 Indy Support Fund, 並在輸入完付款信息後，在Memo/Note 上註明：Food or Foodbank. 因为 Covid-19 Indy Support Fund 是教会同时用于捐助医疗物资和捐助食品银行的共同Fund，所以请大家区分：如果是为了捐助给食品银行，请在Memo/Note 上註明：Food or Foodbank. 如果没有注明，则会默认是捐助医疗物资。

Here is an update on donations received thus far:

KN95 masks = 300
Surgical masks = 1,500
Surgical gloves = 9,000

St. Vincent Hospital Indianapolis, Hendricks Regional Hospital, Hancock Regional Hospital, Terre Haute Union Hospital will receive 75 KN95 masks, 375 surgical masks, and 2250 gloves.

The N95 masks purchased last week will be here later this week. KN95 masks donated from China will arrive later this week as well. These will be distribute later this week or next week.

Dear families of the Chinese Community Church of Indianapolis and friends in our Chinese Community in Greater Indianapolis,

Greetings!

Our world is currently facing a severe COVID-19 pandemic, and our community, including hospitals and food banks, is facing various needs.

Brothers and sisters of the Chinese Community Church of Indianapolis (Main Church and Northwest Church Branch) and our Chinese community will be collecting donations, including medical protection supplies and food, to support local hospitals and medical staff as well as food banks that have a shortage of food supplies. We will have a dedicated team to collect donations and distribute them to hospitals and food banks in need.

Donations will be accepted at our church office (3405 E. 116th St, Carmel, IN 46033) on Thursdays from 4-6 pm and Saturdays from 1-4 pm for the next four weeks.

The deadline for donations is 05/02/2020.

In order that the church can register the donation from everyone, please label your donation with the following:

  1. Name of the donated item
  2. Date of donation
  3. Donor

Chinese Community Church of Indianapolis will also donate $5,000 to purchase protective materials and send the supplies to local hospitals in need where our church members work. 印城华人教会（母堂和西北堂联合）接受弟兄姐妹和社区的捐赠，包括医疗防护用品和食品，用于支持本地的医院和医护人员，以及有需要的食品银行。我们会有专门的团队负责收集大家的捐赠，然后统一分发给有需要的医院和食品银行。
