Tasks For Parents-on-Duty

(School Year 2007-2008)

Parents of our students are required to serve four sessions during the school year. Your involvement is an integral part of our school’s success. The following is a list of tasks for the on-duty parents:

1. Direct the arrival and departure traffic (see safety in weekly reminder).

2. Assist the staff and teachers on emergency drills organized by the school.

3. Set up classroom before the class (especially in Simplified classes S1 and S5).

4. Help library activities – copy and distribute class and homework materials.

5. Set up and supervise recess programs.

6. Distribute snacks and guard for safety during the recess.

7. Set up ping-pong tables for the after-school ping-pong class.

8. Clean up after recess and after class (vacuum and pick up trash, etc.)

9. Put away tables and chairs in Simplified Chinese S1.

10. Assist the staff and teachers as needed.
