Twin Lakes Camp

Posted by Ben Malan
Hello Parents and Coworkers, Olympic athletes train for years in order to compete in the Olympics! As a result, they are in great physical condition. But according to 1 Timothy 4:8, there is something that is even better than physical training--check it out! Real Parents, Real Impact One important thing that families can do to connect with each other is to spend time together building memories. Last week I asked where you like to go as a family. Congratulations to Grace Young and Philip Matouk for winning the drawing! Read my blog to consider the places that were mentioned for the contest!

Last Week (Feb. 21)

Bible Class The children studied Luke 6:17-26, when Jesus predicted that his followers would be hated for following him and told the best way to respond. Check out the passage to see what Jesus said.

This Week (Feb. 28)

Bible Class The children will study Luke 6:27-38 to learn about loving our enemies. This passage includes the famous Golden Rule: "Do to others as you would like them to do to you". Twin Lakes Camp All youth and the parents of 1st-6th Graders are invited to come to the Youth Room at 11:50 this Sunday. We'll be showing a promotional video about Twin Lakes Camp, and children who have been there will share about their experiences. I will also have registration brochures available for each family. If you cannot come this Sunday at 11:50, let me know and I can show you the promotional video at a different time. Children's Ministry Library When you visit the CM Library this week, take a look at the book Parenting is Heart Work. This book shows how to reach a child's heart to achieve real change in their behavior. April 4 On Easter Sunday the seniors will be performing two songs for both congregations. Parents of the seniors: you should read the e-mail you received this morning for all the details. If you did not, reply to let me know. Serving the Lord until we see Him face to face, Ben Malan Why is this called the "SS-120"? SS stands for Sunday School, and you should be able to read the entire e-mail in 120 seconds or less!
