For Everyone

Lent

We are now in the third week of Lent, a time of preparation as we journey to the cross on Good Friday and the resurrection on Easter Sunday. To help you prepare, read this week's thought.

Sunday Worship

Last week we saw that real world ministry is multidimensional. [sermon audio and resources here]

This Sunday we have Sunday School at 9:30 am. Only three more weeks left in this quarter!

At 11 am we join together for our Sunday worship service where Rev. Yang will be preaching on 1 Corinthians 11:23-26. We will also be sharing in communion.

[note: Next next Sunday (3/14) is the beginning of Daylight Savings Time -- so please remember to set your clocks ahead that week!]

Events

Combined Sunday Service - Sunday, March 28 - We'll gather at 9:30 am in the gym for the last session of the Spring Mission Conference and our first combined Sunday worship service since moving to a formal English service.

Baptism on Good Friday, April 2 - Baptism - In the New Testament, becoming a Christian and being baptized are nearly one and the same. If you are a Christian, but have not yet been baptized, now is the time to seek baptism. If interested, please contact me by this weekend.

Prayer

Give thanks for a good 30 Hour Famine weekend. Continue to pray that we would be able to raise significant funds to fight hunger!

Please pray for the ministry of Rev. Dich and Dr. Amy.

Christina M.'s mom had a cat scan last Friday to investigate a nodule on her lung. Thankfully, the nodule actually turned out to be on her thyroid. Please pray for her further medical treatment.

Please pray for those affected by the down economy -- particularly those in our own community.

Please pray for the recovery and relief responses to the earthquake in Chile.

Memory Verse

God's righteousness: Deuteronomy 32:4

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
