| Please bring your child
to club meetings ON TIME! Meetings start promptly at 7:30, so children
should arrive by 7:25 in order to pay club dues and find their groups
before the Flag Pledges at 7:30. Club dues are $22 per child for the entire year. These funds are used to defray the cost of awards
and incentives that motivate clubbers to achieve. In each meeting, kids will be able to play, work one-on-one with a leader
on their Bible lessons, sing praises, and hear a practical Bible message.
Dividing the meetings into three distinct segments helps children learn.
Game Time
Children can unleash their energy during this time, competing in individual and
team games. Some will be familiar playground games, while others are games
exclusive to Awana that the leaders have been trained to teach. Handbook Time
This is your child's chance to work one-on-one with a leader to complete assignments.
Assignments usually involve memorizing and understanding Bible verses. Children's
progress is recorded as they advance through the levels.
Council Time
During this segment, leaders of each group give a short Bible message, lead
children through singing and distribute awards.
